Rocco got adopted!

Ok, so this post is a bit late, but we had some great/sad news just over a week ago. The Annex Cat Rescue reached out to let us know that the same family who had adopted his brother, Frankie, in October, also wanted to adopted Rocco. The adoptive family is a super cool, and they also have 2 kids, which means Frankie and Rocco will be doing lots of playing.

We could not be more thrilled for Rocco, although we definitely miss having him around. Jean-Luc Picard misses him most of all, and has spent quite a bit of time moping around the apartment, giving us the sad eyes. Of course, we had to get him a new friend right away. And so, last Thursday, we got kittens!!! More to come on that, but for now, we have a few more photos of our dear friend Rocco.

  1. Thank you so much Heather!! Luc looked so happy with Rocco as he did himself. I hope things are good now with Frankie and Rocco and they are playing up a storm.:-)

How are Peanuts and Marylou doing? Deanna, their little sister is coming on so nice!!! You won’t believe this but I have her sitting on my chest as I craddle her and give her a few kisses and she rubs her face against mine. This is truly amazing because when I first got all of them Deanna was the one who gave me the most trouble. Biting, swatting at me, good thing I had my gloves in the beginning and now no gloves just lots of purring:-)

Hope Peanuts and Marylou are purring up a storm too and Luc as well:-)

  2. Hey Liz!

So glad to hear Deanna is doing well! Peanuts and Marylou are beyond adorable – lots of running and playing and exploring the bedroom. Every day they’re more comfortable around us, and Marylou has already started walking on us while we sleep. Peanuts is a bit more shy than she is, but they’re both very happy, adorable, and active. Marylou keeps chasing the poof on Luc’s lion tail, so that’s been pretty entertaining. I’ll start posting photos of them this week!

PS: thanks for the pine litter – it is SO awesome!
