After fostering 2 rather social cats, Speckles marked a real change in catitude. We met Speckles when she was approximately 9 months old, after she had lived a good chunk of her life in a Toronto ravine and given birth to a litter of kittens. Not used to human contact, she had hard time adjusting to our somewhat boisterous household. For the first week we had her, she lived under the coffee table! Still, as time went on she became increasingly comfortable in our home, and we noticed she was a bit braver and bolder each day. Speckles wasn’t a lap cat, but she certainly was a cat’s cat! She constantly played and napped with Luc. The two of them became especially attached to chasing feathers, and would eagerly wait for us to play with them as soon as we got home from work. After only a month and a half, Speckles found her dream forever home with a wonderful cat-experienced couple in a home that can only be described as cat paradise – plenty of toys, snacks, love, and feline friends!
